Moles are a typical kind of skin development. They show up as little, dark coloured spots and are brought about by bunches of pigmented cells. However, moles are innocuous. Only in rare cases they are cancerous.
There is an option to get the moles removed. Some people get moles removed as they become conscious of their appearance. While others get the moles removed, as they feel uncomfortable when the mole gets rubbed against their clothes. Ayurveda offers a total methodology to remove moles without undergoing a surgery. In Ayurveda, moles are seen as abnormal muscle mass or fat mass.Apart from the conventional treatments, moles can be removed through a better holistic approach. Following are the Ayurvedic methods through which moles can be removed:
1. Use of Kshara Karma:
Kshara Karma Therapy is a caustic therapy. It is adaptable, on the grounds that even such places that are troublesome in methodology by standard measures can be treated by Kshara Karma. Sarjikshaar, Tankan Bhasma, Yavakshar, et cetera can be applied with gomutra (cow urine), lemon juice, and honey. Few of its advantages include- no bleeding, postoperative pain is mild in intensity, no scope for recurrence and no surgical complications like incontinence, stenosis, and stricture.
2. Use of Agni Karma:
Agni karma is a traditional method of cauterisation. Here, the mole is burnt with help of Pancha Dhatu Shalaka. Panch Dhatu Shakala is a metal rod which is a combination of 5 metals. Agni karma is done on a superficial level. However, it can also be done with gold string or silver string.

There are times when mole is developed due to reasons which can cause blood impurities. Thus, in such cases, raktamokshan is done as an alternative to surgery. This is done in two ways- either with leeches or through the removal of blood by vein. It is also done to avoid the tendency of developing moles.
